WHO ARE WE?

We are 3 Canadian women from a lot of different hobbies who have come together to work as a small family owned business! We love connecting with our local communities through markets and craft shows but we decided that we also wanted to expand a bit and create a space online to connect with more people around Canada and the rest of the world!

THE WOMEN BEHIND BLACK MAPLE FARM

Lisa - Mother bear, owner of Black Maple Farm, Lisa loves all things outdoors and spends all her time off in nature working to make her home and farm much better. Rain, snow or sunny if you are looking for her, she is down in her forest working away.

Sarah - A mother of two toddlers and the only daughter of Lisa's 4 children, Sarah is the owner of SAK Knitting and the mastermind behind Black Maple Bakery. A true country girl that loves being outdoors surrounded by her entire family, she has a passion for baking and is always looking to improve and try new skills. If you are looking for something sweet, she's your girl. If she's not baking or taking care of her family, you will find her relaxing with a ball of yarn and knitting hooks creating a new pattern.

Christine - A new mom and daughter in law to the family, and owner of Christine's Crochet Corner, Christine is a quiet woman that loves learning new skills and decided to watch videos to teach herself how to crochet. If she is not crocheting or learning the joys of being a new mom, you will always find her at home surrounded of her other hobbies, such as reading, gaming, gardening, painting, drawing.
